Do You Take What You Manifest for Granted?
ByJeannette Maw at Good Vibe University is hosting a 3 week Money Party – looking at all things to do with our money vibe and how we manifest it.
One of the things she suggested for a pre-call exercise was to manifest three things – a pink toothbrush, mist on our face and a Jamaican accent. The purpose for this, is to show how easy it is to manifest things when you’re not attached to the outcome. We tend to be very attached to our outcomes about money, so it has a different energy to it.
On the call people were sharing how easily they’d manifested the 3 items. I’d been thinking that I hadn’t manifested the 3 items, and was wondering what was up with my manifesting, and beginning to tell myself all sorts of stories about that.
Then I realised that I had!!! but I’d been looking for them in the wrong way – expecting something big or momentous, or for them to come in a particular way.
I didn’t see a pink toothbrush – but I use very pink toothpaste, so my toothbrush always has pink on it. So it is a pink toothbrush.
I heard a Jamaican accent – but it’s someone on TV, I often hear, so I didn’t take proper notice. I took it for granted.
I’d already felt the mist on my face, just before the email came with the suggestion to manifest these items, so discounted that.
That got me thinking of course about how I often don’t realise that I have the things I’m asking for – but they may have come in different ways than I was expecting, or they are such a part of my life that I take them for granted – or I have them already – so that doesn’t count!!!
What about you? Are you expecting things to come to you in a particular way, so not seeing how it might be here already?
Are you taking things for granted in your life – because something is so familiar to you, do you not fully appreciate the wonder of it?
Do you already have things that you think you still want???
I’ve had great fun and insights playing around with this – hope you do too!!
